Drain cleaning and blockages
Kitchen sinks, tubs, toilets, floor drains, and the main line when the whole house backs up.
Snaking, jetting, main line clogs.
A plumber in Torrance for a kitchen sink that will not drain, or for the main line when water comes up in the shower. The two are different jobs, and what we ask on the phone tells them apart.
We answer day and night, every day, including weekends and holidays.
Two of the first things we ask are where the problem is and whether it has happened before. A drain that blocks for the first time is usually a short job. One that keeps coming back has a cause, and we look for it before clearing the line a second time.
When the toilet bubbles while the washer empties, or the lowest shower in the house starts to fill, the main line is the problem. We clear it from a cleanout outside, with a cable or a water jetter. Which one depends on what the pipe is made of and how old it is. On some older pipe a jetter does more harm than good, and we will not use it there. More on how we clear drains.
Plenty of calls are not about drains at all: a dripping faucet, a toilet that runs all night, a shutoff valve that will not close, a stain spreading across a ceiling. A fixture or a valve gets a fixed price, said before we start. A stain means a leak we have to find first, so that one is priced once we know where it is. See fixtures and repipes and leak detection.
Tell us what you can see and what you can hear, and we will tell you what it most likely is.
Old Torrance, around the original downtown, has houses from the 1910s and 1920s, while much of Walteria and the Hollywood Riviera went up after the war. Expect us to ask what year your house was built, because that hints at what is behind the walls.
Yes, nights and weekends included. If water is coming in, close the main shutoff first. The emergency plumbing page shows where it usually is, and what else helps before we arrive.
Yes. We work on apartment buildings and small businesses as well as houses.
Sometimes. You hear what has to be opened before we start. We patch it closed and clean up after ourselves. Painting and tiling to match is a different trade, and we tell you that up front.
Most of the calls we get are about one of these. We do the rest of it too.

Under a sink, behind a wall, in a ceiling, under a slab. We find where it is before we tell you what it takes to get to it.
Slab leaks, pinholes, running meters.

Thermocouples, anodes, valves, and replacement when the tank is finished.
Tank, tankless, no hot water.

Faucets, toilets, shutoffs, angle stops, hose bibs. A section of pipe, or the whole house.
Copper, PEX, replumbs.

Roots, breaks, bellies, and the run from the house out to the main.
Camera, spot repair, no dig.

A burst pipe, no water in the house, sewage coming back up. Tell us that first when you call.
We answer day and night, every day, including weekends and holidays.
Restaurants, small offices and apartment buildings: we do commercial work too.

Say what the problem is and where you are. We will tell you what we can do and what it takes.
Our work is covered for a year.
