Small jobs we just do. When the job gets big and the problem is somewhere you cannot see, you get to look at it first.
Nearly every expensive plumbing decision is made about something the person paying for it has never seen. That is not a small thing. It is the reason this trade has the reputation it has, and it is the one part of it we think is fixable.
You look at it with us
You watch the camera screen with us, while we are still down the line. We photograph what we found and where it is. We tell you how far along the run it sits and what it is sitting in. You get the findings in writing afterwards, in words you can read out to somebody else.
The findings are part of the job. They are not a product we sell separately. If nothing needs doing yet, we will tell you that, and the conversation ends there with nothing bought.
Then you choose, and nothing is marked recommended
Repair what is there. It costs less now and buys you time, and on an old line or an old tank it can come back, and we will tell you if we think it will. Replace the section. It costs more now and lasts longer, and it means opening something up and putting it back.
And the third one, which is the one that gets left out. Leave it alone for now. If that is the honest answer for your house we will say it, and we will tell you what to watch for so you know when it stops being the right answer.
Where this applies and where it does not
A blocked trap does not need a presentation. Small jobs we just do, and stopping to document them would waste your time and ours. This is for the jobs where the number is large and the thing being paid for is out of sight: sewer lines, slab leaks, repipes and anything that involves opening a floor.

Send us the quote, and the photos and the video too if they gave you any. We will read it and tell you what we make of it.
On a big job, go and get another quote. We would rather you were sure than signed up on the spot, and the price we gave you stands while you do it.
